This cushion is woven from strips of old rugs, salvaged and re-worked by hand by craftswomen from the Boujaad tribe. Specifically: a unique piece, entirely hand-sewn. It is this unevenness of the stitch that gives it its character.
It is sold without stuffing. Provide an insert of 40x50 cm or 40x60 cm depending on the desired effect, firm or soft.
The wool is 100% natural, untreated. Dimensions vary slightly, between 50 and 60 cm long and 40 cm wide.
I use it to brighten up a sofa, or on the floor against a wall. It keeps you warm and pairs well with other Berber pieces. However, avoid it if you are looking for perfect symmetry.
Maintenance is done by hand, with cold water, or with a damp cloth. I recommend dry cleaning for stubborn stains.
Beyond the object, you acquire a fragment of history. Each pattern, each imperfection tells the story of the hand that wove it.
